too much buildup
I agree with the other anonymous comments. Theres good buildup and then there is dragging it out. Come up with a resolution soon. Otherwise phenomenal story.
I liked it. You said yourself this series was more about teasing, so the build-up is pretty good. Also, the drama with the dark man and Daphne is a nice addition.

And, if my vague plans for chapter 7 turn out as I'm thinking they will, some people are going to be well pissed off.
I have to agree, really. I was STOKED for Alex, since it's a first-person story. Don't get me wrong, I like the Trophy Wives, but I can't help remembering a magazine many years ago that interviewed a producer of adult movies, as it were. They asked him why he didn't have any DP scenes or the like, and his answer was that, no REAL man really wanted to SHARE the woman he was with.
ReplyDeleteI had such hopes for a single male character story with the same quality sex as the TWC stories...and, nothing is HAPPENING.
AiP's tone - - that of teasing - - came about from swapping emails with someone who liked my stuff but wanted a story where the sex wasn't instantaneous. Trophy Wives, Three Horny Moms, the Kara Lofts stories - - they all jump into the sex straight away but with Alex... I wanted to do something a little different.
