    This was a very good story till you fucked it up by not finishing it.  But then you are just like the 85-90% of the writers on this site that do not finish their stories.  You have NO idea how frustrating it is for a reader to get into a good story to have the rug pulled out from under you when a writer does not finish his story.  But then if you cared, you would have finished the story  For the 1st 4 chapters I gave you 5-STARS but for chaper 5 only 1 STAR because you did not finish the story.      Retired Army NCO

First off, I was surprised anyone was still reading The Wilbraham Fungus! That was posted years ago!

I did try and reply with the following, but the email address didn't work so if the author wonders why I never got back to his/her slightly rude email, this is what I tried to say:

The Wilbrahama Fungus IS complete -- sure it has the potential for a sequel but it's not one I plan to write any time soon.

And I do understand how frustrating it can be. I'm a reader myself and there have been plenty of stories that have just stopped part way through without even a temporary resolution that the  ...Fungus has. It's as annoying when a film franchise doesn't go beyond the first one, or when a TV series doesn't get renewed.

Maybe I'll continue the story, maybe I won't. In the meantime, I hope you find other tales you enjoy.

Hope that satisfies them but, from the tone of their original mail, I doubt it will.
